Freediving World Apnea Center in the splendid and rich waters of Sharm el Sheikh, in the Red Sea, is organizing 2 weeks of Blue Week for next Spring 2024:
• The first from 21 to 28 April 2024
• The second from 28 April to 5 May 2024
You can all train together in the specialties of constant weight, variable, static and dynamic. It is a week open to all freedivers, family and friends.
The training field with cables from 40 to 60m and the two platforms is located about 100 meters from the beach, easily accessible by everyone. All participants will be able to access the sea with a partner from 9am to 5pm, the use of the Lanyard is recommended on the 40m cables, mandatory on the 50 and 60m cables.
Furthermore, in particular time slots, with the assistance of the Apnea Academy Instructors and the Freediving World Staff, those registered for the Freediving Week will be able to experience the thrill of the No Limits discipline (max 60m).
On Saturday it will be possible to perform a simulation of a competitive dive on the platform with a counterweight system, the depth must be announced the previous day and the exact time of your dive will be provided (Official Top). The use of the Lanyard for this dive is mandatory. The organizer is free to limit the depth if doubts arise about the safety of the dive.
The water temperature is around 24/25 degrees with a visibility of around 30 meters.
The local organization will provide participants with weights for the belts and logistical support.
For each Blue Week, the cost is 120 euros, for both weeks the cost is 200 euros.
Payment must be done by cash at the Freediving World Apnea Center Reception the day of registration.
From Monday to Saturday there are extra workshops on: Breathing techniques, Specific stretching for freediving, Equalization and excursions to Ras Mohamed, boat trip and desert night (booking in advance is recommended).
